City of Surrey Recognizes TBF Environmental With “Green City” Award

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

VANCOUVER, BC (October 28, 2014) – TBF Environmental Technology Inc. – a leader in the development of environmentally-friendly industrial solvents – has been honoured by the City of Surrey, BC, with the 2014 Green City Award in the Business category.

This Award is given only once every three years to a company which “plays a critical role in enhancing Surrey’s natural assets.”

“TBF is honoured to receive the City of Surrey’s Green City Award,” said David W. Rowat, CEO of TBF. “TBF’s green solvents have been developed to provide safe, effective replacements for conventional toxic solvents used in a variety of industries. Every drum of green solvents which TBF sells displaces a drum of toxic solvents which otherwise would endanger the health of workers and pollute the planet. We are pleased that our home city has recognized our contribution to improving the health and safety of workers and reducing environmental pollution. We are continuing to expand our presence across North America and look forward to significant growth in the near future. ”

TBF Environmental Technology (TBF) manufactures innovative industrial solvents which reduce environmental impact by reducing or eliminating the emission of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAPs), and greenhouse gases compared to conventional solvents. TBF solvents do not contribute to ozone creation or depletion. All TBF solvents reduce the risk to the health and safety of workers by replacing conventional toxic solvents.
